MEMORY BEAR

Keep your memories alive with a special Teddy Bear made out of textiles with sentimental value.

This teddy is made to display, is not a toy and is not recommended for the use of children under six years old.

The design of this bear is inspired by the classic German Teddy Bears, the original pattern is by Lisa Pay.

Measures approximately 40,5 cm - 16” tall and weights around 830 grams depending on the materials provided.

Standard Memory Bear price - without accessories - is 150€ plus shipping, if you want to add accessories extra fees will be added to the final payment. This item covers first payment of the order, the remaining pending payment should be covered once the bear is finished.

Steps to order your Memory Teddy Bear:

1. Choose carefully the textiles you want your teddy to be made of, accurate materials can be shirts, dresses, coats, blazers, trousers, blankets, curtains, table cloths, neckties and scarfs. Please note thin and delicate materials like sheer, silk and semi-transparent fabrics are not suitable to work for this kind of project, some can be used as accessories for the bear like a collar or a hat. Other belongings like keys, bells, pendants, brooches or any other small object can be adapted as an accessory. I do not sew clothes for bears at the moment.

2. Send me a message through the contact form on this site with the subject “Memory Bear”, tell me about your textiles so we can figure out if the materials are suitable to make your Teddy.

3. Once the materials are being approved, wash them with neutral laundry detergent with no strong fragrances, please do not use softeners, make sure to note any imperfections like stains and holes and let me know about them. It will be amazing if you can iron the materials for better treatment.

4. Send your textiles to me, once received I will let you know and just then you can purchase this item, which covers half of the total price. Once I have confirmed your order I will start immediately to work on your Teddy - I will be in contact with you during the process.

Takes me around 1 to 2 weeks to have a Memory Bear ready. It depends on the amount of work, I’ll do all I can to have it ready as soon as possible.

Once it is finished, I will list an item just for you in this store to cover the remaining payment and shipping expenses.

Average price for a bear is 150€ - additional fees might be added if accessories are being made.

For security reasons and for better service, I only do Memory Bears for customers residing in European territory including UK.

Pidä muistoja yllä erityisellä nallella, jonka valmistuksessa on käytetty tunnearvoa sisältäviä tekstiilejä.

Malli on saanut inspiraationsa klassisista saksalaisista nalleista Lisa Payn kaavan mukaan.

Korkeutta nallella on n. 40,50 cm ja painoa n. 830 grammaa riippuen käytetyistä materiaaleista.

Standard Memory Bear - ilman asusteita - on 150€ (+ postitus.) Mikäli asusteita halutaan, lisätään maksu loppuhintaan.

Tämä maksusuoritus kattaa tilauksen ensimmäisen osan, loput suorituksesta maksetaan kun nalle on työstetty valmiiksi.

Kuinka tilaan Memory Bearin:

Valitse tarkoin tekstiilit, joista nalle halutaan valmistettavan. Soveltuvia materiaaleja on paidat, mekot, takit, housut, peitot, verhot, pöytäliinat, kravatit ja huivit. Huomaathan, että ohuet ja herkät kankaat kuten harso, silkki tai läpikuultavat materiaalit eivät sovellu työstämiseen. Näitä voidaan kuitenkin hyödyntää muuten, esimerkiksi kauluksena tai hattuna. Tällä hetkellä en ompele nalleille vaatteita.
Lähetä minulle viesti sivuston yhteydenottolomakkeen (Contact) kautta aiheena “Memory Bear” - kerro tekstiileistä, joista haluaisit nallen valmistettavan, jolloin voimme yhdessä suunnitella mitkä materiaalit soveltuvat ja millainen lopputulos halutaan.
Kun materiaalit on hyväksytty, pese ne neutraalilla pesuaineella ilman vahvoja tuoksuja - ethän käytä huuhteluainetta. Mainitse epäkohdista kuten tahroista tai rei’istä. Olisi hienoa, jos materiaalit on mahdollista silittää ennakkoon helpottamaan valmistamista.
Lähetä materiaalit. Ilmoitan kun ne saapuvat minulle, ja vasta sitten on mahdollista suorittaa tuotteen osto sivustolla, joka kattaa ensimmäisen osan. Kun tilaus on vahvistettu, alan valmistamaan nallea ja olen sinuun yhteydessä prosessin aikana.

Valmistukseen varaan aikaa 1 - 2 viikkoa. Kaikki riippuu työmäärästä ja teen kaikkeni, jotta Memory Bear valmistuu mahdollisimman nopeasti. Kun nalle on valmis, listaan sivustolle henkilökohtaisen oston suoritettavaksi, joka kattaa loput tuotteen hinnasta sisältäen mahdolliset postituskulut.
